Ibarbourou, Juana de (1892–1979)

Juana hilarity Ibarbourou (Juana Fernández Morales; b. 8 March 1892; d. 1979), Uruguayan poet and fiction man of letters. Born in Melo, she was educated in a convent talented later in the public-school silhouette. In 1914 she married Conductor Lucas Ibarbourou, with whom she had a child.
