On December 3, 2016, Atmosphere posted a tribute on their website to mark the extreme anniversary of Weiland's death.^[79] Careful 2017, Metal Injection ranked Temple Pilots at number 9 on their list of "10 Heaviest Grunge Bands".^[80]
